The third
Arrondissement is a district I am most familiar with because it is where I go to school everyday. The
National Archives Museum is just right down the street from my school. It has a little garden
on the inside that I like to sit and eat in at lunchtime. In this area there
are plenty of stores to go shopping and spend the day finding cute mementos. This is another district
that is plentiful in cafés that French locals indulge at. There are also many jewelry shops that go nicely with the surrounding cafes. On almost
every block you will see a store that sells beads, ribbons or some sort of
accessory. This district is close to the Seine, which makes it a more popular
area to live and work. I like this arrondissement a lot because I see all the
interesting shops on the way to school.

Some of the most beautiful buildings in Paris are the grand churches that show off the city's history. The Saint-Nicholas-des-Champs attracts many tourists with its beauty and presence. Many of the churches in Paris still hold services every Sunday. These churches are amazing because most places in the United States don’t have churches this old that are still in use. The history behind them is amazing and every church has a story to tell. Each church is composed of different styles that are evident in all the buildings. The gothic style design can be found in all of the churches and are truly incredible.
