18th Arrondissement

The 18th Arrondissment of Paris is home of the very famous Sacré Coeur Basilica. A beautiful monument that is located on Paris’s highest point. Last Wednesday a few friends and I headed up to the beautiful church to explore it and the wonderful views. The 18th Arrondissment varies in cultural virtues seeing as on the east side of Montmartre there is the reputable Sacré Coeur and on the other we have the Moulin Rouge located in the West. It is a wonderful area in the Montmartre neighborhood that is filled with delightful cafés and restaurants. The trek to the top of the Basilica was quite a journey that took many steps and stairs but was worth it for the amazing view of Paris. This is a monument I will return to for the amazing basilica and view.

While exploring this neighborhood I stopped for some delicious gelato at Tutti Sensi. The gelato in france is to die for and a frequent treat I love to eat.

The views from the top of the Sacré Coeur are amazing because you are able to see the whole city of Paris

A stop I made was to the very famous Moulin Rouge Cabaret located in the 18th Arrondissement. With its extravagant reputation the Moulin Rouge acts as a cultural centerpiece in an area renown for its carnal after hour scene.
