11th Arrondissement

Wandering throughout Paris has been a favorite pastime of mine because of everything you can discover. Going down random streets and finding the little cafés that aren’t on every website can sometimes be the best of surprises. In Paris little parks can be found everywhere and are my favorite thing to explore. In the 11th Arrondissement I stumbled across a few random things I was not expecting to see. While wandering through the city I came across a cute little park called Jules Ferry Square that contained a fountain and some gardens. People were sitting on benches and enjoying the day.

Square Jules Ferry located in the 11e.

The famous place de la Republic also lies in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. This is a famous statue that many come to see because of the marble and bronze features. It is a very work of art in the 11th arrondissement. By the statue many kids were skateboarding and riding threw the square. It was a friendly place to be with more kids running to mist sprays that were coming out of the ground. The 11th arrondissement was full of life and character, which is probably why ended up liking it so much.

The churches are in abundance here in Paris where there is at least one in every district of Paris. I like that people are able to go to a place where they feel safe and can take a break from their busy Parisians lives. The Church Saint Joseph is another one of these amazing places one can go. The beautiful buildings are very relaxing and are also fun to go and sit in. I think that these churches are very important to the French culture and show a lot of history as well. Overall this district was amazing and even contains a circus.
