17th Arrondissement

The seventeenth arrondissement was another wonderful place full of fond memories. It was great because it contained yet another one of my favorite things of Paris, yep you guess it, a park. The Parc Monceau was fantastic and it had so many cute and quaint things about it. The pony rides circling the park took me back a few years reminiscing on the good old days when I was young enough to cruise around on one. The eloquent Japanese garden style could be found in this park. The bridges, creeks, and trees reflected the eloquence. Another area of the park contained roman looking pillars that were next to a pond that connected to a slow moving stream. I loved the beauty it added to the park and enjoyed the view.  This place was great for a stroll because of the beautiful flowers and the lush trees. This was a very wealthy area and the homes surrounding the park were very lavish. The balconies were huge and the gardens behind them were fantastic. If I had the chance to chose an area to live in within the city I would chose this area. The buildings are just so beautiful and it would be a superb place to live.

This area of Paris was much nicer than I had anticipated because it is located on the northwest border of the city. Most of the arrondissements that neighbor the suburbs are a little run down and less valuable but this district contradicts the stereotype. Even though this district might unconventional it is worth the trip and many great things about this district might surprise you. I thought this district contained a little bit of what I hope to see the world, artistically speaking.
