7th Arrondissement

As I ventured through Paris with some of my friends we happen to find ourselves in some of the most amazing museums. The Musée d'Orsay for example is one of these amazing museums. When we visited this museum the Van Gough exhibit was being showcased. I loved seeing all his amazing pieces and learning about his erratic life. I got to see the famous “bedroom” photo and many other great works. There were also many amazing sculptures that I was intrigued by within the museum.

Interesting Site: Musee D'Orsay

Another amazing museum we visited was the Rodin Museum. This famous sculptor had some incredible works of art. His house sets the scene for this museum, which is beautiful. The grounds are filled with flowers and sculptures that are very pleasant. The “thinker” statue is here and I was very happy to be able to see it. I think this is my favorite museum because of all the amazing artwork and everything about the place is mesmerizing.

"The Kiss" is another very iconic work of Rodin's.

The Eiffle tower is my tourist attraction because it is the most visited tourist site in the world. Everyone comes to see the tower and the city. It is so famous and everyone thinks of the tower when it comes to Paris. The tower is stunning at night because it sparkles and looks even more amazing. This is when the city has a very romantic feel to it. I was also very fortunate to be here while the French Open was going on at Roland Garros and was able to watch it on the Champ des Mars, right next to the Eiffle Tower. A tennis ball was fabricated and placed in the center of the Eiffle Tower for the French Open. This was a great day to spend in Paris and watch the match. The 7
th district has many great sites to see.
