1st Arrondissement

The arrondissement that is home to the famous Louvre Museum is the first arrondissement. It is a very popular district of Paris and the Tuileries Garden can also be found here. The first arrondissement is situated right in the center of Paris, which makes it a hot spot to be in. There are also many tourists in the area because of the famous museums and attractions in this area. It is the perfect place to be engulfed by the Parisian culture. With this district being so occupied, it reflects the busyness of the city. There are many high-end hotels and restaurants in this area as well.
On my endeavor to explore the first arrondissement I headed to the very famous Louvre museum. It is a vast museum filled with amazing art pieces and many elements of various historic time periods. The Tuileries Garden is my tourist attraction because of its proximity to the Louvre, many visitors see this glorious garden as well. It is one of the biggest gardens of Paris and is about a twenty-minute walk straight through. It contains beautiful flower gardens, mazes, fountains, and sculptures as well. While I was there the summer fair was going on and I was able to enjoy the rides and yummy treats, which made the garden even better.

The Louvre Museum and the Pyramids from the front.

Tourist Attraction: There's me in front of one of the fountains found at the Tuilleries.

The Tuilleries garden with the Louvre in the background.

There were goats trimming the grass.

Part of the fair that was going on at the Tuilleries.

The end of the Tuilleries Garden by the Orangerie.

The Orangerie museum is located on the opposite side of the Louvre in the gardens. This museum holds many great works art of Monet and Picasso, including Monet’s very famous water lilies murals. It is a beautiful museum that is quick to go through and worth the visit.

My interesting attraction: The wonderful Orangerie Museum

Amazing paintings found in the Orangerie.

Visiting the Angelia restaurant was also a very fun experience as well. It is a very nice place to get tea and some French treats. I had the best frappe of my life while dinning here and I will go back again for some more of their famous hot chocolate. Overall this is a terrific district with many things to offer.
