19th Arrondissement

The 19th Arrondissement is a great place to spend a day in Paris. The parks in this district are huge and beautiful. The Parc des Buttes Chaumont is on a high cliff and I was able to see some great views of Paris. The whole park was extravagant from the bridges to the caves to the waterfalls. This park being in the 19th arrondissement doesn’t get a lot of tourists, which is another reason that makes this park so great. This great park has many elements to it, such as a few cafes in the park I could ate and spent the day. It was fun at the top of the Temple Sybille where you could see more amazing views of Paris. Overall I recommend the park to all who come to Paris.

Architectural Object: Parc des Buttes Chaumont

Here I am, after a little hike across the bridge and up to the Temple Sybille.

A waterfall that was preoccupied at the moment.

A waterfall that lies within a cave in the park.

The other park I visited in the 19th was the Parc de la Vilitte, which is one of the biggest parks in Paris. It has music and concert halls that bring in many visitors. There are many attractions in this park as well. Within the park there are a few areas for children that entertain them really well. You will also find an equestrian center and an IMAX theater. I went to a couple that perked my interest and found them to be a great insight to the Parisian life. The music hall is huge and amazing. The Cite de la Musique is a music museum filled with instruments. The park was also dense and contained a lot to see.

La Grande Salle holds concerts and is a big tourist attraction.

Cite de la Musique is a very interesting concert hall in the Parc de la Villette.

Commercial Business: Cafe des Concerts is a great place to eat before seeing a show.

A list of upcoming events for the summer.
